ok sweel i got the frame welded up today and thanks chris for helping me i will post some pics soon
later this arvo i went down to bunnings looking for some 1/4 bolts then when i got down there i realised i dident have a drill bit the right size for the tap so i picked up a 1/4 drill bit (not thinking and compleetly forgot that i needed a drill bit 1 size smaller than the 1/4 but i wasnt paying attention)

ok got the holes drilled and taped and it was a good thing i stuffed the first set of holes cause its an indication of which way up it is and also it makes the holes stagared to the other side makeing it hold stronger. i dont know if the taping will hold impacts so worse case senario i can get some biger threads and put them right through and lock em on the other side with a nut (through the frame and both pannels of armor)
thanks heaps jake the wheels are great. i dont think i got to show you why i wanted them orange (the decal) but any way. i cant do any mroe but put on a "floor plan" in rhino and wait untill i get nicks mounts on sat and some lexan. any one know where i can get some big 357mm x 357mm x 6mm>?? in less than a week?? _________________ as a shadow is seen and not heard i am here

hey hey waddle, i heard tseng was weighing in at like 8kg so i reckon you should be able to use 4mm steel on the bottom, in which case i have a nice piece of 4mm checkerplate steel thats about 285x 325mm in size... reckon you could make that work?
but none the less the st marys place never dissapoints.. just dont buy perspex this time :p
ill go and look in my trash bin for some 6mm and if i do ill bring it on sat, i may have enough for a 1 piece of 350x350.. _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts

ok welli wanna keep it as light as possible so i can get a better power to weight ratio for some speed and pushyness and the mobs in stmarys are good yes but lately they havent had anything any where near big enough however i did leave my phone number with the dude and his going to see what he can chase up. also it will have to be 357mm in length atleast it "could" go smaller on the sides however i realy realy realy dont like that idea. also glen i dont have much of a way to cut the steal effectally
also chris would it be possible for you to make me up 4 of them bolt spikes you have addapted to sorry by any chance. also if possible chris could i take you up on that offer and get you to make me up a set of mdf or what ever pannels for top and bottom just as a back up in case i cant get the lexan or what ever in time
also i have decided to do something realy realy stupid and use some ali angle if theese hindges wont work or i cant get the wedge to "hug" the ground . and tim if you read this i just want to say i like your idea and will probably use it _________________ as a shadow is seen and not heard i am here
