Well said there Phillip,

I am sorry to have gotten so fired up and sorta taking over the ants thread but i thought in Bretts original post that he was brandishing all christians and what not like that.

I later realised he did not but was referring to the television ones that r just in it for the money.

Phillip basically wrapped up what i would say in a nushell, not to brandish all of them like that.

Also smart move brett with moving it here. sorta cleans up the ant section a little. Very Happy.

Well heres my 2 bobs worth then for the HELL of it Rolling Eyes

Ill bealeve it when i see it Wink

One of my theorys is that we are all here because it is imposible for NOTHING to exist for instence if there was just a big black open space that would be something.

No 2.If space go's on forever and just keeps getting bigger whats on the out side of space for it to expand into? Confused

I have many others Cool

ah, now you're venturing into the fuzzy realms of edge-physics..a favourite area of mine. Cool

What is "outside" ? That has an assumption that space can exist independantly of matter, time or energy.. which is disputable. In fact, the whole concept of time as a linear dimension may be erroneous in my opinion.

If a photon (light particle) travels at the speed of light, and relativity based time dilation suggests that time slows down infinitely at the speed of light, then then to a photon, it is everywhere in the universe at the same time. It is merely our limited perception of time that causes it to look like a line, rather than a multidimensional hypersurface. much llike looking at something through a slot limits your field of view except along the slots dimensions.

If you consider Fractal Maths, Holography, Relativity, Chaos Theory, Quantum Uncertainty/Entanglement and the like as perceptual manifestations of a deeper multidimensional whole structure, then the "classical physics" view of the universe starts to look decidedly shakey.

Exactly how a supposedly concious super-entity with a discrete personality can exist within or outside this framework, other than as a homeocentric personification of misunderstood forces has not been in anyway demonstratable to my satisfaction this far.

In a simpler form (which will annoy you welcher, sorry) There is no proof that God exists then there is proof that the ability to Time Travel is possible.

And Brett, just because I mentioned Time Travel doesn't mean you can bring out the Flux Capicitors and Mr Fusion! Smile

mmm unless the photon reflects infinitly the photon would presumabbly be "everywhere along its path" at "the same time"
</nitpick>

btw check out the "oh my god" particle
http://www.fourmilab.ch/documents/ohmygodpart.html
from earth to the edge of the universe in 19 apparent days.
now that'd be a ride to hitch.

i have my Mr Fusion plans
k admitadly the first one was designed to make a rocket so bite me ;-P

oh my god! thats one awesome particle.

well god boy welch heres one thing to think of, im guessing youve never read a little book called the " origin of species " then maybe you will see that this god created the world in 7 days shyte for what it is Wink

and as for this religion creates war, true in every sense. and while where at it, give me some firm real evidence where religion has done something good for this world.

well thats my rant, ill shut up now and follow this saying chris past on to me - ill stay away from churches and theyll stay away from me Cool

whats at the end of the universe Confused well if my physics textbook serves me correctly at the 'end' of the known universe there is an opaque area where it is too hot for electrons to orbit there nucleus' or something like that.

its anyones guess whats beyond that.

Im not going to get all Jahova's witness on you or anything and jam why or why not u should believe down anybody's throat.

I believe what i do believe and not on just story's and such but on first hand experiences and RAW FACTS.

U guys can believe what u want, thats your choice but dont be rideculing others of their beliefs or saying they are wrong for this and that.

Before we can address the new we must address the before how did it all start Smile ... did it all start?

Also just remember all you are is a bunch of atoms forming chemical reactions inside that skull Very Happy

Everything you do is based on the balance or unbalance of chemicals so all you “choose” to do is really not in your control but only because the chemicals where in that certain way at that time in your atoms filled brain of yours.

There was nothing, it exploded, became something, cooled down, formed goo, went through the zoo and became you. Sorry I don't have enough faith for that religion. Have you ever heard of conservation of energy?
