Yeh 1.36kg.
That could work, as long as it isnt one of those lame twist valve ones which are really unreliable.

Tried, the valves break really fast, not worth the effort.

Using a servo to click one of those one push torches might work better. I was going to try one a while back but couldn't find one that would fit the design.
Other than that don't know how people activate their beetleweight flame weapons, they tend to keep it a "secret" so newbs don't attempt it and blow themselves up.

ROFL glen, coming from you! Laughing
If you could get a suitable tank and electric valve PLUS a way to control the nichrome wire, it should work ok.

they can withstand a fair bit of heat and it wont be a blue flame, i'll half block the air holes so it will be hot but not too hot

i might be able to get some nicrhome wire from skool

lol no, i dont think a glow plug will take the heat at all. iirc its just nichrome wire but very thin. you can kill the plugs no sweat with an rc engine.

a spark would probably be better to ignite the stuff then a heat source anyway

I'd have thought some heavy duty nichrome would've been more reliable and consistant then a spark gap though?
