Just a question about the wheels.

Can in you in future put the smooth side of the wheel so it faces out and the liquid leveled side on the inside when its screwed onto the drill shaft?

Or to put it simply just trun the hub the other way around.

in light of glens problem you may want to put a *light* coating of some kind of grease onto the hubs. some kind of long lasting but thin type substance?
we have tried lithium grease but dont currently have a robot to test it on

*ATTENTION*

do not use the type of left hand screws with the pan head on them. use only the counter sunk type left hand threads as the pan head type are to long to work with jakes wheels.

jake can fill you in on that but i think that retreading a wheel is a bad idea, it probably wont hold on well.

plus youll be hard pressed to wear out a colson

i was thinking i could put some screws in the hubs with the heads sticking out so the polyurathane has more to hold onto.

You would be better off to cut grooves around the wheels to give more surface area for the urethane to key into and possibly less weight. Colson tread it very tough, but spinning one against a rough hacksaw blade should give you a groove quickly.

i mean when it wears down to much take off the rest of the tread and retread it with the polyurathane.
