We are thinking of offering a service for colson owners, send us the wheels and we will retread it.
Really i dont think it will be that economical for the "home user" to do their own. you have to get the urithane (its not the stuff you dip tool handles in btw) which comes in kilo tins. you have to mix it *very* accuratly, we do it to within 1 gram, Then we put it through a temperature profile so we get the most consistant parts possible. _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets

then we dip it in rich creamery butter
not a post on wheels but on polyurethane none the less, to get those different hardnesses of polyurthena, do you have to buy different variations of the two parts or can you mix the polyols and isocyanates (mwuhah fear my technicalness) in different ratios to get the hardnesses? _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts

hey jake how much $$ am i looking at for a pair of wheels basically like a smaller set of plan bs,
~ 100mm diameter,
~ 25mm wide
~ aluminium hub with a pulley lathed onto the side
~ hole for a 16mm bearing in the middle.

Ok time for more wheel newz
we can do custom wheel sizes and colours.
Minimum order for a different colour is 4 wheels, and an extra $15 for the pigment.
we can also do custom sizes cost is $40 for the mould and $25 for the wheel (unless it is getting much larger). We can go up to 200mm but at that size the squidgyness may be too much to take, we are investigating different harder compounds so those with larger than average wheel needs arent discriminated against.
we are bringing out 80mm wheels as part of our standard line so you can order that size at no additional cost.
cost for a standard "red wheel replacement" is $25
i'd have to check again to see if we discount on 4 _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets

Hi Jake, I'm up for four custom sized wheels on my own hubs. the dimensions are 60mm diameter by 38mm wide. If possible, I want a dark colour additive - doesn't really matter what shade it is, just so that the urethane isn't transparent. If you need some cash up front for materials, just say the word. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

Put some opposite polarity magnets under the floor and watch him wonder why he gets no traction.. _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people

Shouldn't that be "same polarity" magnets? Opposites attract in magnet land.
Cheaper to put a few lines on opposite polarity magnets under the floor so the wheels get trapped by the enourmouse attactive mag field. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion
