Well it has been a long time since I used that electronize. I have another if you want. Or another Sabertooth 25A. Or can probably do up some 10A relay controllers.

Thanks. I will probably go with what I have on hand for now. Later, the BotBitz relay controllers will be the way to go.

Pick the burned switch.

Here is some nice simple wiring.

The blue and brown wires are the power supply. The blue and brown wires are for control. The blue and brown wires send power to the linear actuator. Maybe I should get myself a few different coloured wires.

Later, I will add limit switches to stop it stalling.

I need to come up with an idea to limit the current. It jammed on the way up and blew a relay. I think they were 30 A.

I will have to fine a low voltage source so that I can stall the motor and extrapolate the stall current at 24 volts.

18G wire works as a pretty good current limiter Smile

This probably explains how you blew up the HK10A. Could potentially do a current limiter if you want. Or just grab a ragebridge.

Powering the linear actuator with 1s from the original antweight kit, the stall was peaked just over 4 A. I might try a battery that is capable of higher amperes to make sure the battery isn't limiting the current.

Another option is to use a drill with the torque clutch set bellow stall. Karen drill has a small Bosch.

Edit: 4.02 A at stall on 1s from a 2650 mAh 35-70C. That should be 24 A at stall on 6s. right? Maybe the relays were 10 A.

I will definitely go for some TZ85s later. Got to watch the dollars now.

I found some more relays in my old Marauder piles. (Never throw anything away.) I have wired one in and it is working. The main axle has been lowered so that it won't jam on the way up. I will put in a limit switch so it won't jam on the way down. Things only went pair shaped at stall. More combat testing will let me know if it is OK.

Aussie Battler is now working. Limit switches have been installed at each extremity. It self rights.

Now to decide whether or not to try to add the decorative head in such a way as to still allow it to self right.

The mechanical switches are a worry as they may be blocked by wires etcetera.

Inspired by Daniel's and Miles' respective walkers, I decided to have a go. This was 287 grams as pictured. Needs rethinking.

No. I stopped building when it was so far over weight.
