Its really only the first round. As I said before people can make mods but its really only gunna help em with the first battle.

I think it does give people a bit of an edge but nothin significant. If there were significant mods being made then it would be a problem but as of today i don't think anyone has done anything for a particular opponent that couldn't be done on the day.

I think it adds more to the build up to the day. And off course there's the friendly abuse. If anyone else has a problem with this feel free to tell me and we'll redo it on the day. I am getting in a bit early this time but i won't get a chance to do it again all week.

BTW there aren't any spinner at this event for once

Just thoughts the draw doesn't really bother me i'll fight anyone

hmmmm. Prancing Queen now has 4cm blades instead of 15cm long ones to stop it flipping. To compensate for the lack of "reach" I'm going to add 20cm long flails slightly behind the blades. 30cm in diameter before spinning, 70cm while spinning.

Scarifier will only need one flip to win. But I can't get Scarifiers flipper under that sort of flail without getting the polycarb chewed.

Oh, what to do. Who do I want to win. Rolling Eyes Do I leave the flails off, or add them.

What would happen if Marauder or any other bots gets stuck under the wood? Are the walls supposed to be bot traps? We did push eachother out at Kilkivan. What are the house rules at HoC?

There technically not supposed to be unless you lean someone up on them. Or flip em out. What do we want to make that. I will start a poll

Quote from RFL forum

"Of course, there's a difference between a competitor and an event organizer. Competitors get to throw their 'bots into an arena, and attempt to beat the snot out of each other. Event organizers get to throw their wallets *at* an arena, and attempt to beat the flexibility out of their Visa cards. Competitors have an awkward task of picking their competitions, getting 'bots ready, making travel arrangements, shipping, and other anoying logistics. EOs have unenviable tasks of providing locations, situations, and logistics, to support the needs of the competitor."

Nic has thrown his wallet at the arena and keeps doing so with planned upgrades and putting on a feed. It is only just, IMO, that we help Nic. IE give $10 per robot per event so that Nic doesn't have to cover all of the costs by himself.

Nic wouldn't stop anyone from coming who could not afford $10, but I hope the donation will be seen as fair and reasonable for those who can afford $10.

$10 if hell fine with me. I remember at RoboWars it was $20, and we still didn't mind paying that!

Really guys, you don't have to pay to come here... anytime (comps or for testing).

The only difference is the modifications move at my hobby budget rate, which is why nothing has changed to the arena while I've been building MoF.
If you'ld like to see changes quicker then I guess I should put a donations box around somewhere.

Would $$'s per competitor be bit fairer than $$'s per bot - so as to not be a financial burden on people entering several bots?
Just thinking of the future when there will probably be Feathers, Ant/SOZ and outdoor ?Light/?Medium bots.
