AS a wise rabbit once said
AAAARrrrrrrrrrrrr shuttt uuppppp!!!!!!!
On a brighter note scored big at the flea market this morning, Hadnt been for ages so was lucky to find another 2 speed Ryobi drill completeing another set as well as 8 different drills ranging fron Bosch, Atlas copco, Black and decker and a couple single speed Ryobis all for the amazing price of 2 bucks each, that deserves a big WooHOoo.
Some of these are pretty awesome, have 2 x 2 speed 600 size motor gearboxs that look chunky.
And the guy was so happy I bought his junk he gave me his details as he has heaps in his garage to look at, thats another WooHoo. _________________ Bots that do not destroy you, only make you stronger.

I just go to the local Trash and treasure which is usually a drive in on weekends. Never tried Vic market but dont think they would have that sort of stuff. Flea markets are more suitable. _________________ Bots that do not destroy you, only make you stronger.

Dont think have exact type but have about 5 different 2 speed gearboxs that I will put a pic of up soon.
My luck continued today as I just picked up 5 makita/ryobi angle grinders for 5 bucks each and the coolest thing is that 4 of them are the same as whats on Pinschers drive. Would have been up shit creek if I damaged one as would not know where to find replacement but now I have 4 plus a single which matches one I already have so thats 3 pairs of quality angle grinders.
Guy also gave me a battery powered hedge trimmer for nothing and one thing that was tempting but didnt have any more cash on me was a 9.6 volt Dewalt drill that wasnt working for 25 bucks.
Does anyone know what to expect inside of a drill like that. Are they still 550 motors and does that sound like a good deal? _________________ Bots that do not destroy you, only make you stronger.

You go back there with $25 or i'm gonna kick your ass! it has Dewalt slapped on it! Just BUY it! It's probably just a dead battery or busted trigger. _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

What exactly have you brought already tim?
Have a few gearboxs that look very similar to yours but all have different motor configs and are different in the nose. One of them has a motor even wider than a 600 but shorter using three mounting screws on the face.
If u get a chance twist the motor off and take a pic of the pinion gear.
The bracket on yours is different but the only way it could work is if we could get your bracket cloned somehow 3 times.
Am guessing your first stage would be metal as I have one here without motor plate. _________________ Bots that do not destroy you, only make you stronger.

If you can pick up that 9.6v dewalt drill next time your down the flee market ill buy it off you as i have sorted out one allready for my new bot and kneed another.
Btw heres another pic for you off the motor i have.
It has all metal gears exept the sliding gear other wise all the many gears in there are steel and it takes a D shaft in the end of the gearbox.
The motor is a 18v johnson motor with 70010 johnson 3b3652 written on it.
That national one you have looks like it uis the same as what i have got.do you have a picture of the front of it?
How many volts is the bosch drill as i know somone who has one that they would sell but not sure how much.It is eather a 9.6v or a &.2v i cant remember?

Heres a pic of 3 sseetups I have with similar gearboxs.
They are all a bit differents in ways.
The first one has the metal first stage like yours but has no mount plate for motor.
The Bosch one has a nylon first stage but with a mount for a 550 motor.
The national one has a mount for some big fat short motor that has 3 mounting screw holes.
The lever on these is slightly different to yours but is probably better not being just wire.
In short tim if we could duplicate your mount somehow 3 times we could probably end up with a set each and then just match motors which is easier than the rest. Dont know but thats what I have atm.
In regard to the drill I did pick it up but its not a planetary unfortunatley but its still a good drill. Just needed batteries but didnt come with charger. Boy do Dewalt not want you to open up the battery case and replace batteries, the way they make them.
Drill has this cool button that acts like a clutch so it doesnt engage until you press, not sure why prob for nuts and bolts or something. _________________ Bots that do not destroy you, only make you stronger.

How many volts is your bosch drill as i know somone with an old one they might sell but not sure how much?
I can get another drill like the one i have but the person selling it will prob want more then im willing to pay for it as im not sure if ill ever use it for a drive? _________________ Tim Team Reaper.
