Fragmentor was at the event although while Matt was doing a demo for the crowd his relay froze and went into his ballistic dance spining the pick around an round just like at Sidetracked, disapointing that Frag did not fight, crowd enjoyed it although. ^.-

From the event we went to NSW aubury not for a robot fight, but a Car show, so the 3 robots finished up going to a car show lol, this is why I are late in posting, we only got back last night.

Actually to be more precise Pinscher had lost b4 the drum was dropped.
Once I was flipped couldnt self right as the weapon was damaged from the KO fight so it was game over as Pooch was basically helpless and finished. I think balistic wanted some revenge from what I did to it at the Anhiilator and lets face it it doesnt get any easier than a bot at 8.4 volts upside down and imobile with damage inflicted from previous fights.

Its funny when I did the same thing to Formido it was game over but when I was flipped by the Rotwangs it was lets thow some barrels at him while hes upside down and cant do anything. lol. Actually while the Drum was on top of me tried to make it spin like a performing seal but couldnt get the right angle.

The drum was a bit of a surprise, didnt expect that but think its a good idea, i just wish I knew that was waiting for me on top of the problems I was having. Its all good but, what doesnt kill you just makes you stronger.

@David, nice doggy, never actually saw it at the event but came across it in the pics and thought - What the - Very nice work and very clean looking, well done.

Seriously, what could be better than Melbourne, you get the full gamut of different weather.. all in one week! And who can forget the pleasure of sun baking next to our glorious Yarra river, and then 5 minutes later be able to dance in a rainstorm! hahaha

No really, event was great fun, even if i didnt get much time to watch the fights.

Anyone using msn should add me as well rasti_farian@hotmail.com

Due to the surprising length of the event, Daniel and I are hoping to have smaller events more often, maybe as often as once every 3 weeks, but with only 4 bots at an event. This also will make the outerlimits event structually different from the Sidetracked event. Also, it will mean we can start and finish within the bedtime constraits of all the little kiddies. Not to mention that we can have an internal pit area without taking up too much space.

Any ideas anyone has for the arena would be greatly appreciated. I think we are looking at getting a floor sander in there to flatten it up a bit, and were gonna work on the visibility issues as well. PM or MSN me with any ideas.

Well yeah mel i agree the match went a completely diffrent way to what i thought it would of i mean i thought you had me beat and you should of but i guess a K.O is counted much more than all the damage you do

As a old saying goes you gotta finish to win

Hi all

I actually got time to pick up the event video tapes tonight .

A big "thank you" must go to our cameraman who surrendered his time and equipment to record the event for us . Those of you who think its easy to watch a event "thru the camera" should try it . Of course the event would never have been as good if none of our dedicated helpers showed up. Again a big thanks to all ...

Hopefully , both a highlight and a builders disc will be available soon thru the website . A short highlight clip will be posted when it becomes available .

Enjoy
Moth
