My thought is: Holy sh*t! I won't be getting any sleep for several months .
Moving the April event by a week isn't so bad, but how did so many events get bunched up? I'm not too worried though, and like Glen said, its all good practise. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

Seems OK to me and I still have a month to rebuild El b. but then the preasure is on!
Chris, I think the june event was your idea to get us to 7 rounds??
Is everyone cool with the 23rd? then I can give the info to Bret.
Angus, I hate the idea of money prizes at the moment. If someone feels ripped off by a decision they can get over it, but if money is involved it could lead to resentment.
We do have a trophy, if only Chris can remember to bring it!
Donated prizes are great, like Nick`s battery pack raffle, where even a dodgy bot new commer can win.
The money situation is we have $180 in the bank. Not much and it will only grow slowly as now we are deducting catering. My thoughts are that we will be slowly saving for more polycarb as it will not last for ever and if we want to accomodate light wieght spinners we WILL have to thicken up the front screen.
Chris owes $20 and Wayde $10. I would like to ignore it but everyone else has paid up to date or in advance.
I would LOVE a pit! But not everyone agrees so I want to push the idea that it can only be activated in the last minute and by a bot activated switch. I have the flahing warning light installed ready to go!
I have scribbled some ideas but still havn`t come up with a mechanism that utilises the whopping 250mm depth!
What about the arena obstacles? Do we all want to do it at Marayong and what do we have or want to use?

sorry about the fees thing i didnt even realise it was still happening as for the dates im cool with them ,
its just everyone seems to complain about not enough time to get ready when they are 6 weeks apart and i thought now would be the time to change anything if it was a problem .....
ive resorted to missing a few events this year due to work anyway so im not fussed ......but do remember the annhilator is still undecided and getting closer ...i definatly wont have time to get involved at all this year sadly but just dont let it creep up on yah _________________ Photos - http://community.webshots.com/album/154092733uokpXC

next event date is fine with me. i was working on the old one.
chris: yeah i had noticed the closeness of the events. my concern was the one before the annhilator i think we should maybe scrap it and turn it into a build prep for annhilator.
Ive got a few things to propose for annhilator, but prefer to do that in person than have it swamped by discussion here.
dont worry its not creeping up on me. its when im taking annual leave so im looking forward to it.
will have new event system proposal finalised soon. in the middle of busy work period atm

ok well i dont think i can go to every event if their only 3 weeks apart but i will be there for the big-un and a thought why not have them 5 weeks apart and over 2 years rather than 3 weeks for one (not sure how everyone else feels about that but its a thought) _________________ as a shadow is seen and not heard i am here

i say we just drop one event so its easier on us and all.
Events 3 weeks apart will be rough i think for me but ill try. If we drop one event it gives us a larger gap between the two events and all and the event before ahnialator being a build day or something, _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

well im all for dropping the 18th june as a comp day ,it will leave about 6 weeks to get ready for the 2 day event but as bort said turn the 18th into a practice day rather than a round proper .......but if the majority arent interestsed then thats cool if you all agree to drop the 18th as a comp day we can always make it up in the back half of the season where there is no annihillator to deal with _________________ Photos - http://community.webshots.com/album/154092733uokpXC
