No, the airflow path is usually fairly well sealed from intake vent to outlet, if it wasnt, then the fan wouldnt move air where its supposed to go and the cooling wouldnt work well.
And, even assuming it did, so what ? Dust on circuitry doesnt bother the circuitry greatly. Fans and heatsinks are about the only things you want to keep dust off. Maybe the CDRom drive reading lens, but if would be a stretch for it to get there, and you can just wipe that off anyway.
If its really bad, to the point where the laptop is overheating (usually about 75degrees CPU Temp) and shutting down regularly with even light use, then it is a better idea to disassemble it and clean it manually, but thats a long intricate job.
A few quick squirts of reverse air can clear the dust well enough to drop as much as 15-20 degrees off the CPU running temperature - Ive done it often. _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people
