If Glen didn't have the sudden urge to rag out against Scoopy, I might not have had the sudden urge to bag Cobra so quickly Razz As for you mr welch and your spinner friends, we have some very very good things for them coming Cool

10:1, there lathed out of aluminum the pulleys.

the motors are pretty huge, there bigger than a mini ev at least. some of the much bigger drills probably have a motor like them.

the chassis is just all fibre glass with kevlar base last time i had a look down inside it..

its a shame they never made the cardboard templates for the old version out of beer cartons eh eh eh

Marauder is still losing by about 4:1. El Bravo stands alone as this country's leading flipper.

i like marauder as its all round a cool robot, u may be losing matches but who cares. Its all about fun and i think marauder is the most powerful flipper ive seen for a while (basically matador power in a featherweight).

One thing i REALLY want to see what happens is if marauder can self right or what happens after its flipped and fires the flipper.

The old version of Marauder used to go close to a full 360 degrees when self righting. The new version is some seven times stronger.

back to the Plan B part of this thread.... is Plan B's spinner attached directly to the comm shaft of its weapon motor? Looks that way in the robowars2 dvd/s.

....Marauder is going to be downright scary when Philip gets it to stop breaking itself. We're going to reinforce the arena walls just because of all the flying bots up here Laughing

Bey, just wondering what plan b's dimensions are, and how high the disk is from the ground. Very Happy

lol, well, they can get that disk damn close to the ground if they run it inverted . . . I'd say less than 30mm, about 60-80mm I think when its running right way up.

BTW, dont be suprised if they turn up with something new next event and ruin all your preparation . . .
