bearings, pulleys, chains etc

hello,

im just searching around for chains, sprockets, belts, bearings, bushings and that sort of thing on the australian sites.

sites like CBC seem to have what i need, but i have no idea how to read their catalogues... or actually find the specific things im after... their "cataloges" all seem to be just company advertisements Confused

furthermore any one know a specific place that sells

* 1/2" flanged bearings / bushings
* 1/8" keyway
* 1.5cm wide timing pulleys and associated belts
* OR some appropriate chain and sprockets for a feather...

HELP!! Razz

The CBC site is crap (even their own staff say so!) but they have what you need in timing pulleys. BSC Motion have a similar but limited range from another manufacturer. You can go directly to the Gates site for the catalogues: www.gates.com . You need to create a login (be creative Wink ), then you can download everything. Try this direct link to see if you can bypass the login: http://www.gates.com/catalogs/file_display.cfm?file=PT_SynchronousBelts_2005.pdf&thisPath=gates\catalogs

Look for the "Sycnhronous' catalogues for timing belts and pulleys. Also get a belt length calculator as you will need to work out which belt to get. Don't fall off your chair when you get the pricing, compare it to the RMP, which may be cheaper. I guess well over $100 for the bits you need Crying or Very sad

CBC do bronze bushes, as do Edcon steel and BSC Motion ( http://www.bsc.com.au/html-bsc04/indexBSC.htm ), or you might look at these nylon bushings: http://www.cuttosize.com.au/products/x-lube.html . They might work better after a frame-twaeking impact as they have some flexibility...

Technobots now has a range of pulleys and belts. It might be worth comparing the price with RCM. http://www.technobots.co.uk/ http://www.robotcombat.com/marketplace_timing.html
