We are hoping to have a drum bot for Russell and a disk for Jake, jakes disk will have to wait till next comp though. Not enough time.
its still 90% paper though but we do have some actual parts.
very very tiny parts

fingertech spark motors 83:1

interesting motors! i thought those ones were planetary.
was always under the impression the spur style were inferior to the planetary kind given the same size, but thinking thats not the case anymore.. if so then all the better for us all because the ebay and jaycar ones have a similar gearbox to those too
I reckon its weaker than planetary, but at that size can you imagine how small the gears etc would be? _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets

cool design but exposed wheels will be ur biggest weakness, one hit from a horizontal spinner to the sides and ur screwed _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

Well the same/similar wheels stood up to scissorhands so I'm not too worried.
depending on weight they might get some foam or something _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets

I probably just missed them With that design, don't builders usually have to add a tail to make the bot stable?
