Would two ev's at 24v running of two 12v 12.8amp hawkers and a 1-5 gear reduction be a good drive system for a middle weight? _________________ Tim Team Reaper.

Yes. if u have something like a 5:1 reduction then it would be pretty sweet.
the middleweight villadge ideot was easily pushing people around with 5:1 reduction so it should be good.
Why middleweight though? _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

Does anyone have photos of the TR Magna fan motors. Also anybody who uses them (Jeff, Welch?) would you guys be able to tell me the stall current of them?
Just looking at getting Andrew one for his latest project and one or two for myself to muck around with. _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Okay, I got a nasty shock at the prices of the TR Magna motors from my local Wreckers, I'm wondering if anyone else is able to get them as cheap as $20 each?
If so, I'm prepared to pay you for them, a little bit for your time and the postage for two of them. _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Do you have a photo? At our fave wreckers "Pick & pay less" I seldom pay more than $5 to $10 for a fan motor, regardless of make or size. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

I have no idea what that are called, but I can pick them up at P & P for $5 and an hour wandering about with a tool kit. They are a truely good motor for their size. They don't have any shaft, just a flat face plate with 3 screw holes - that's what you wanted? _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

Nick, if you have any spare time and if it wouldn't be out of your way, if your down that way, could you just pop in to Pick & Payless for me and look for a couple of TR Magna fan motors, would be muchly appreciated. I have a little fan motor here that I believe is the same or very similar to Plan B's in size, except it has a double D shaft and is rated at 73watts at 12v. I'll get some photos of my little fan motor later today, seemed to spin pretty good just on 7.2v _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

There is a good chance that I will be out that way this Sunday. No promises, but if I see the right motor I can grab one or more for you. I will post a pic of the motor I think you might be after, just to be sure. Do you happen to know if the Magna motor has any special markings? I might find the right thing in a different model. Any idea what the wattage is on this motor? _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

The TR Magna motors are a Nippon Denso motor, I believe they are around 80-90watts. I wouldn't mind two motors like Scrap's, but they are too tall for my design unfornately. _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/
