Yah, open the valve in an open area (preferably on a windy day) and wait till it hisses no more, and then leave it over night or something to be sure. _________________ ( •_•)

Last time I did that, I (of course) vented the gas, and filled it with inert gas (in my case argon cause i had heaps of that), vented it again, and repeated that process a couple of times. Then there should be no significant residu to speak off.
Then you can cut and grind away.

Just to let you know, they're not that great armour...
I know I.G. has done very well with it, but don't expect it to last long against the spinners in the comp today (eg orbit, jolt, bender)
It's only thin steel, jolt can put holes in corners of 3mm thick steel tube _________________ ( •_•)
IG's gas bottle armor is only 1.6mm thick. But I've never seen IG have anything internally damaged from another robot, so it's bloody good armour if you ask me!
Jolt can eat though 5mm aluminium like nothing, but he didn't go to far against Bane's 0.8mm stainless and air armour

Its the shape and hardness that is the key IMO..
Bender only broke I.G.'s shell when it caught a tooth on the seam of the bottle. Without that, spinners just glance off. There are plenty of scuff marks on the shell from bender and reboot, but thats the first time anyone has broken it.
Even Titanium wont save you if you have sharp edges for spinners to catch. Look at Hexy Jr. 1.6mm steel is plenty hard enough for most things as long as the spinner cant "get their teeth into it". _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people

I would just open the valve and start cutting. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems
