The flux capacitor you can keep.. I want some "Mr.Fusion" batteries !! Laughing

1.21 GigaWatts of power that can be recharged with rubbish would be sort of handy, although I'd hate to try and find a motor controller that would handle it, how many amps are those new servo switches Chris ?

On a semi-related note, does everyone know about the "Electric Drive Train Simulator" software available from Enigma Industries ?
http://www.enigmaindustries.com/EDTSim.htm

It lets you design and model the drive train of your robot with a huge array of predefined motors, batteries, (and you can add your own) + wheel configurations, switches or PWM controllers, and then you can actually drive it around, see how fast it goes, how manueverable, how long your batteries will last, peak currents etc etc. Its quite a nice piece of 'ware. Definitely worth a look. Theres a limited free demo as well

Yeah, ive used the demo, its pretty good, but way too limited in parts. After mucking around with a hex editor for an hour or so trying to make the EDT Sim accept the spec files for the other parts from the full version, I gave up, and added it to my order from the robot marketplace. Placed that order about two weeks ago, so should get it soon Smile

dont diss the saw, it did the most dangerous damage to us of any bot
nicks thing did just about what we expected it to so there was no real problem there, you came closest to disabling (by damage) our wepon.
