www.oatleyelectronics.com
www.ozhobby.com

[US]
www.towerhobbies.com

Not quite on topic, but as McMaster has just been mentioned, I wanted to share this email from them I recieved today:

quote:
Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately, we are not accepting business from new customers.

McMaster has been sending me stuff for well over a year, so I'd like to know why a company suddenly wants to piss it's customers off and not make money Evil or Very Mad

More on track, I like these local stores:

http://www.conbear.com/ Bearings, belts and other power transmission parts. No online sales but many local branches

http://www.modelflight.com.au/index.htm Ant & beetleweight parts

http://www.euromodels.com.au/ as above

http://sccomposites.com/ Local carbon fibre - just as good as the US stuff.

Yeah, well I dont really want to order from overseas. More for the support and warrenty, but also to get parts faster. So, when posting sites, plz say weather its AU or not.

yeah, well while building it and stuff, like me, it may come in handy to say "I have no idea what went wrong, just blew up" and not mention the fact you mixed up the wires. Laughing

We will have to forget about McMaster - they wrote back and said they are only dealing with company accounts - they are not interested in small orders any more Evil or Very Mad.

I have googled lots. but want to find the cheapest and more reliable stores that are useful for this specific thing. Cause there arnt many online stores that specilize in robotic combat or have anything specific to it. (except RoboWars.org)

This site seems pretty damn good for those small random parts you need but can't find! They have a pretty good looking small drive that could be used for a beetle too! Smile
