Congratulations on the win.

Did you face Scarlet? If so, how was the match?

thanks phil

well ill just leavs this here

the new drum went undefeated throughout the day

spun up and hit harder than ever bouncing excorcist off the arena roof and some across arena hits

my old drum did reasonable but overall had a few issues but put on some good shows, the match against super deep clean was 3 mins of us bouncing around the arena, was fun. Need to work out a way to better decure the teeth, currently they are tapped into the 3mm wall thickness ali drum and that alone isnt enough, had screws stripping and forcing themselves out of the drum

Beetle did well losing by judges a decision to killer where his drives crapped out but he bent some frame into a drive killing it but i was still moving a bit but either way, won another match or two before whirlwind forffeited due to rooted battery and then i was out of the comp

Gonna put this down to an error in the format system or somebody not putting the forfeit in meaning i didnt get another shot at anybody and was out of the comp after one loss to the champ after i was controlling him and doing fairly well

Ill start a thread soon to discuss this matter and politely ask that it be reviewed so the same issue doesnt occur again but yeah still got me a beetle working ready to rumble again so..... cant complain too much

Hammerhead was a beastttttt and martoss robo esky was fairly entertaining

Taking this week to get back to the gym and catch up on life stuff then ill start work on warning again and decide in next week or two if im going to the nationals or not

well looks like warning is out.

Setting up brushless drive in it and got it running ok, some minor programming tweakings to be played with and now the brushless controllers light up when i twiddle the sticks as it should but there is no beepings and no motor spinning.

So power is going properly, the controllers visually show they arre working but they are not making the motors chime with glee or fire up and run.

Will look into it more tomorrow but may be just ants and beetle at this rate

Hmmm what controllers are you using?

Are you using A123s? Do you have programming card?

If anything is blown, I have a complete replacement set of ESCs and motors available to borrow. Pick 'em up any time, or I can bring to the event.

Well I'm finished. Warning is still not working as it should. Bringing it anyway as I have two days before feathers to tinker with it and the collective minds of others may help.

Beetle is same ol. Literally pulled it off the shelf and it still works fine.

Ants r done. Fixed the minor issues which appeared at last event and hopeful. Need to try and do a new lid for the old ant. Worst case will cut another can up there or use tape.

May try a small dab of glue in case the grub screw loosens like what happened against super deep clean to hold wheel on also.

See you all Friday.

new project im tinkering with

Got some old wheelchairs from work and chopped and welded the frames to start what will be a four wheel drive wheelchair

Will hopefully finish so i can unplug the joystick, plug another plug in which has two 80 amp botbitz controllers in it and make it a radio controlled wheelchair

Its for my girlfriend, she has a condition where her kneecap is higher up than normal and tilted inwards which means it pops in and out of place alot, knee specialist has said its in-opperable and also means if she walks long distances shes in agony for days so hopefully i can throw this in back of the car and when her knees start getting too bad she can ride in style.

Should have it done for the first local feather event.

Best part is overall cost will be under 200 easy Very Happy

yeah man, get the lay-z-boy going on on this puppy Smile

But based on your requirements im thinking you'll want it to be lightweight so you can get it in and out of cars etc. So carbon fibre racing seat it is Smile

standard wheelchair frame with wheelchair shit coloured upholstery

everythings staying fairly stock, top end of the chair detaches from the powered base and the back reclines so will have to seperate it for transport and such

will start putting it back together, get it working and see what happens

Have another project i want to build whcih is a radio controlled rideable skateboard thing, i have one wheelchair motor with trolley wheel (the inflatable ones like vandetta uses for drive wheel) welded on and such, works good, just need to do another side, make a standard frame, get some botbitz controllers in it and voila, transportable ridable off road thingy

Progress made

Need to change one motor, get cprrect bolts for one side, wire it up and weld two plates to stop the chair part pivoting around the base

In theory should be close to done in two weeks
