New drills

Dick Smiths are selling a new 18v drill and I love the thing lol

900rpm for a start
To do this it is differnt gears, the gear on the end of the motor is much bigger than on a normal so the motor won't fit past gearboxs

Also all the gears are metal! its true Very Happy

Same ends as a normal and I fited a blue wheel onto it no problem

Any way it's $30 I'm planning on trying this thing out on 24v in KO wish me luck lol

yeah i noticed them a while back. They r same price as ones i have but sounds better, feel better and all round seem to perform far better and far better quality.

If i have weight/money i may get some in orbit for the metal gears/extra speed and shizzle.\

ut yeah if u want 18 volt drills there def top choice.

Old school Bosch pwn3d Dewalt. Dewalt is owned by Black & Decker now, so it's just a fancy name like Nike or Adidas now...

Er. . . . Dewalt have been owned by Black and Decker for quite a while.

quote:
1960 - Alonzo G. Decker, Jr., son of the co-founder and a Black & Decker employee since 1930, succeeded Robert D. Black as president. Mr. Black continued as chairman of the board and chief executive officer. Black & Decker acquired DeWalt, Inc. of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, a manufacturer of radial arm saws and other stationary woodworking equipment in the U.S. and Canada.

1992 – The entirely new DEWALT line of professional products for North America was launched.

they are capacitors, used to filter out RF noise from the brushes.

Usually people have to add those to get better radio control performance Smile

They would have to be supression capacitors if they are wired across the terminals. It's rare to find them on drills and I would leave them on to reduce radio interference. Does this mean there is a new bot coming from Team Funnelweb? Wink

DOH, Dumhead, U type too fast Laughing
