since no one else has made exactly that you'll need to experiment and work it out.
Check out some car wreckers for fan motors, etc - and try to find one that's easy to adapt to the flywheel and runs at the right sort of speed....
It won't be a small job either way, so you're best off getting a basic bot going (ie, driving around) and then worry about adding a weapon.
Also, don't get stuck on the one weapon design. Build something around the parts you can find, otherwise you'll need some seriously expensive tools and machining. _________________ The Engine Whisperer

By flywheel weapon, I think you mean a spinning disk, right? check out the photos of Orbit's weapon for mounting ideas. Try to avoid these classic mistakes:
Use a thick axle: at least 16mm and don't use a bolt unless its made of high tensile steel.
Support the axle as close to the disk as possible to save weight and avoid bending.
Build the bot first, or at least collect all the parts & weigh them. The disk will be one of the heaviest parts and its hard to reduce it's weight after its made.
Use thick steel: anything under 10mm tends to get bent quickly.
Avoid friction drive: some people
have
made it work, but it is usually very unreliable compared to belt drive.
Like Dumhead said, car fan motors are the best choice to powere the weapon and they are cheap. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

well those are two perfectly reasonable and effective options...
Why do you need another one?
You can try the spare parts department of various car manufacturers, but the motors will be several hundred dollars.
You could walk around hoping that you trip over one in your travels.
You can make one out of string and paperclips if you have enough time and are related to MacGuyver.
You can try to find the blueprints online and construct one from scratch if you have a well equipped machine shop and a lot of time / money.
You can print one out from a picture found on this site, but it will be down on power compared to the $10 wrecker version. _________________ The Engine Whisperer
