Word of advice; reinforce the attachment of the Axe head to the handle. Smile

Thank's for the feedback,

How would I go about reinforcing the axe head handle connection?

I would say weld it but the shaft is fibreglass

Just drilling and pining the head to the fiberglass core of the handle would be an easy first step but as it’s close to the end of the glass core it might still pull through.
Welding a length of flat strap and extending it down from the head then cross bolting was what I had in mind.

You can buy very nice but expensive axes with the heads guaranteed not to come off but I like the expendable quality of the Supercheat item. Smile
