Whel, this threds been inactive for a while, basicly bcaus i have been aswell XD BUT i have made some design alterations. i plan to buy some extra cels (posibly packs aswell) from welchy, and also a powersupply so i can get me a charger. This week is exams so nothing... untill the weekend Twisted Evil i'm plannin a run to dick smith powahouse at waringah mall for wirin switches and a soldrin iorn plus a trip to teh hardware for some smaller hoseclamps and drill bits. i also have a CAD for my base and my part pics at my photobuket album ;http://s60.photobucket.com/albums/h26/Robo-Grassy/?sc=1&multi=1&addtype=local&media=image

Well just had a sucessful shoping trip. got a solderin iorn, hose cloamps an intresting low profile castor i saw at bunnings, wire switch,block connectors and a brand new m10 steel drill bit Twisted Evil BUT when i got home i realised i had left my solder at jeffs and also my pretty new drill bit was going finely, even on an XU1... untill the batts ran out Evil or Very Mad so im like meh il go in and do the soldering *looks for solder* OH SHIT, i must have left it aaT JEFFS Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad I THEN tried out my new hose clamps, and muy luck changed, they fitted, XD YAY photos coming wen i get bak from grandpearents (no PC there)

Just get a new small roll it's like $2. Also with the iron dont forget to wipe the tip with a damp towel (when hot) to keep i clean and fresh. By the way I don't mind but swearing could be somewhat toned down in your posts...

Also, not just the language that needs toned down, but the content in this build thread is more like reading a blog or diary of your own personal life.. Confused

Hey guys settle down, Grassy is new and enthusiastic, try and be helpful.

While he does not know how we do everthing here we can be encouraging and not just point out things we do not like.

I for one am impressed with your enthusiasm Grassy and look forward to seeing your first bot, try not to let all these whingers get to you, they are just scared of your first bot kicking their butt Smile

Welch just dumped a s**tload of batts on me, so now im gonna have 4x spare paks. Also, jeff gave me motor mounts & i bought a grinder. Very Happy il post photos l8r
