terraform

after looking at the aluminium and motors i bought almost 8 months ago i though it might actually be time to build my bot, i got distracted because at the time i had barley any tools or a workspace, but now i do since i moved to ballina.

any way onto my bot

weight class: feather weight
weapon type: thwack bot
motors: 100 scooter motors
control system: what ever i can afford
speed controler: what ever i can afford
batteries: 2 small sla's 4.5 amp/hours
frame: 20x20 1.5mm box aluminium
thing at the end of the stick: machined steel hammer 1.26 kg

although the frame is only 1.5 mm it can support my weight jumping on it without budging a bit. im also going to add a hell of a lot of triangles to it

i still need to by bolts so i can attatch the motors.

the long pole is just a place holder for the arm.

thats a really neat frame there. some X shaped cross braces will make that a sturdy piece. you might want to straighten up that other scooter motor Razz looking great.

thanks for the compliment for the frame,
i am going to put in cross braces to strengthen it but first ill make the arm so that i can make it right. i had to make this frame well or it would be torn apart way too easy with a pitiful 1.5mm wall thickness.

i havent put the motors there properly yet, i still need to go to town and buy some bolts for that.
