The regulator is conected. I have to chase a few slow leaks, but I could run as it is without running out of gas before the fight ends.

I think that I have fixed the gas leaks. I will have to wait until the thread lock dries to retest the fittings for gas leaks. There will only be test driving and test flipping to do before the next meet.

It will be good to be able to test the flipper in the shed and not have to go 30 m from the house.

Orange is about 11.5 kg. I should put on extra armour, but I probably wont.

There are no gas leaks. This is a first for me. I just need to get motivated and put it all back together and give it some test runs.

This robot proves what most of us already know. Cheap robots are still fun to build. This robot has as much chance at being competitive as any other.

It is all about having fun and hanging out with good blokes.

Orange is in one piece. Two screws need to be cut off with the angle grinder so that the robot can shut. The solenoid valve clicks when it is supposed to and the drive has already been tested. There is every chance that Orange will be ready to fight tomorrow night.

I will take a couple of pictures and post them. I left the camera at work the other day, But I will grab it on Wednesday. Be warned, it is ugly.

Orange looks the same apart from a few robot kisses from Annihilation.

And there are people that find my robot ugly. Smile

Gas tank is a good idea though, it is very durable metal.

Orange is packed into the ute. I didn't get around to testing it. I don't know how many flips it will give on one tank of gas. It drives OK, however.

I will be interested to get into a pushing match. It only weighs 12 kg so I will have a weight disadvantage with most bots.
