The short made my batteries extremely hot. Other QLDers can tell you that my motors and batteries are often too hot to hold but my controllers are still at room temperature.

A tiny 'chip' thermistor on the printed circuit board continually measures the temperature and will turn off the output if a pre-set limit is exceeded. Likewise, the current flowing through the MOSFET's is sensed and the output turned off if a pre-set limit (approx. 150 amps at max. temperature) is exceeded.

Orange is basically back together. I have thrown in Alex's speed controllers from his boat. They will only run up to 12 v. I have got 2 7.2 v battery packs. Does anyone have any that they could lend me for the Kilkivan meet?

I will finish putting it together and testing it on Friday.

I wired it up and it drives. I also reconnected the pneumatic system. It had several leaks, as I often do. They all seam to be fixed now. I need to get some bungs to put into my system to stop pieces of debris finding their way into my fittings. The pressure is set for 9 Bar.

I just need to do a little angle grinding and I will be ready to load it into the ute.

Orange was wedged by wedges and devastated by Devastator.

Alex's boat speedos survived the meet. They got as hot as the battery pack. I am not used to my normal speedos getting hot or warm at all.

If we have another event before I rebuild Marauder, I might run the blue box robot.
