Yes that is very ingenious! Very Happy
Shame about the back, perhaps a thin (1mm or so) polycarb skirt just to help keep wedges away?

Skirts are for girls!

If a wedge really wanted to get under me then they would no matter what I add to the robot. The problem I see with the ground clearance is dealing with undercutters. And since there is only one entered into the comp then I wont worry too much. Besides it is the front that I will keep pointed at the other guy not the back.

I just finished putting Devastator back together and all is good. I couldn't weigh it with the digital scales as I can't find them but with a full tank of gas the old spring scales came in at 29lbs. All the electronics have been re-calibrated and re-trimmed and all the failsafes tested. I then took it outside and tested the pneumatics and all is good there. The arm still takes around 10sec to return but at least it does return.
Now I just need to stick a flag on it and it is ready to go to America.

God that looks funny, blame Philip. I reckon you could bend that all back if you wanted to.

Why did you choose the Team Delta Solid State Switch?

I measured up and inspected the ram last week and I can say that if that thing was a sample that arrived from China I would have rejected it and had it remade. The biggest problem I'm going to fix is that the bore of the cylinder measured 69.90mm and the rim of the piston measures 69.90mm. Both exactly the same, except for the little imperfection on the pistion which cause it to bind up at the top of the stroke. The other main problem is the O-ring measures 70.50mm. Thats a 0.3mm compression when inserted. I'll lossen it up once I get the lathe running true.

That QEV looks familiar. What are you doing with it, and how are you using it? Thanks.
