I found a couple of videos on YouTube that are interesting and decided to create a general thread for them.

"The term cyborg, a portmanteau of cybernetic organism, is used to designate an organism which is a mixture of organic and mechanical (synthetic) parts. Generally, the aim is to add to or enhance the abilities of an organism by using technology."

A guy has built what he calls a "Cockroach Controlled Mobile Robot".
A cockroach is stuck into a frame with sticky-back velcro so that it is running across the top of a mouse ball which then controlls the motors of the robot. Exterenal sensors turn on and off LEDs in front of the cockroach to guide it around obsticals.
