i like the shape of the machine, that with a fast and strong drivetrain and if built study and strong will do very well for a first machine
i would citch the saw blade as they do nothing as far as damamge and such these days
id go just as a wedge for now or go lifter or something else, a wedge/ifter design would be effective _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

Finding a design you like is always a good first step. You will also need to work out how much weight you can allow for each system, drive, battery, weapon, etc. I found that making a cardboard shell in the proposed shape was an effective way to make sure that all of the components would fit properly.
Good luck, enjoy yourself and please feel free to ask any questions you might have. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

Nice progress on your first bot..
Be aware that if you are intending to compete at RoboWars, your Servo-Switches and Weapon control will require failsafes to be legal to compete. _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people
