O Rly? So Sproing has never won an event? Reboot has never one an event?
Cool robots do win.... Your just to use to seeing the boring boxes with a spinner attached to it, in NSW that you've become accustomed to tunnel vision _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

It did?
No videos, no photos and no mention of it in event reports. Unless it went under a different name.
Was it Monolith? I still haven't figured out what it is or who owns it.

Just wait till I get Skeletor sorted, I still have a happy memory of you Taping out as Skelly sunk his drill into Orbit and the smoke leaked out.

I couldn't find a reference to it either, but it definitely happened. I think it was in the melee, where we don't record the match details. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

ok, grudge match then, any robot of yours versus orbit if your game, orbits been working awesome all year with last robowars being first event (and thus issues arose)
so put your money where mouth is fella
actually i hope i draw reboot, always wanted a shot at that one and being another vertinner should be a good match _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

Reboot has coped with Vertical Limits quite well, your tip speed is probably substantially higher than Reboots but you have a higher CofG and weapon diameter.
Be interesting match.
It’s totally up to Rob and Matt regarding Grudge matches.
I would be happy to accommodate you with Bane as long as its not in the main comp at the time eg has already won.

Sidewinder
Prancing Queen
Sproing
Marauder
El Bravo (maybe)
Is that the final list or does someone want to add another?

Thanks Prong, but destructive power just doesn't win awards any more...
My next bot will have to be fluffy pink with a plastic frame and a pretend weapon to get an award <comes back to his senses> Nah, it's NSW destructiveness all the way for me! _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

Winning Events wins awards
Anyone can build a hugely destructive hand grenade, except it only works once... Building a spinner so its still working and winning at the finals of the event is the trick.
Coolness to me is *clever*. Andrews trick of putting a piece of foam on the floor with Sproing and then putting the other bot down on top of it was cool.
Its thinking outside the box, rather than just building a stronger more powerful (and expensive) box.
Building a bigger gun will always have people scrambling for thicker armour, but the true master turns the opponents energy against them. _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people

Well Jolt wasn't much good at "folding up" Bane... So much for the "Most Powerful Spinner" in Australia ROFLCopter!
Reboot VS Orbit, I reckon it will end up with Orbit turned turtle Reboot is very fast and Rob has mastered the controls well... Plus Reboot has a wedge and Orbit gets pwn'd by wedges nearly every event...
I'm up for facing every spinner at RoboWars with SchmackHed.... Your gonna love my testing video this weekend
