NSW pre-robowars meet

Everyone else is doing it, why don't we!
I propose the sunday the week before the event... I think that's the 7th?
Should be a good day to discuss plans, weigh newly built robots ( Laughing ) and do some needed testing!
What are people's opinions?

Angus,

Get off at Toongabbie. (better coz there's more trains to Toonie than Marayong, but prob less than blacktown) Either way ill pick you up at blacktown or toongabbie.

Let me know when you were thinking of getting there.

If anyone has some old frames or chunks of things for testing can you bring them along for treadware to test a new weapon on. thanks

Thanks for the offer courtney! I will probably try to get a blue mountains train as they are much faster (as I learnt going to Jakes) however they only stop at major stations, so it'll have to be Blacktown. I'll let you know the time i'll arrive soon. Smile Thanks!

I am 90% confirmed; will also be going past PnP quickly for a fan motor

Couple of things:

I somehow packed someone's small yellow multimeter in my tool box at the last event - any claims? I will bring it along tomorrow.

I anyone in NSW interested in using a 75MHz wheel radio with a short Deans antenna? Its not as good as SS but the tiny antenna and reduced interference is a big improvement on 27MHz.

I probably can't afford it, but my radio might be having a big interference problem... It's either that or the IBC, I will have to do some testing to find out. How much would you want for it? Smile

Free loan for locals going to Robowars - you could borrow it for longer as I am less likely to be using it soon.
