This is how the motor looks with a 4" pulley:

You can't see the flange but the 3 screws in the face of the pulley screw into it. if you pulley doesn't cover the existing holes, you will need to drill & tap some new ones closer to the stub axle

I think you will have a weight problem if you use that weapon setup and steel armour. My first version of Jolt was quite a similar layout and with a slightly heavier motor, the same drive motors and about the same batteries, it came right up to the weight limit. at that time, Jolt had a 5mm aluminium welded frame with no top armour, which would be far lighter than the frame in your CAD. based on that, you will need to lighten up the frame heaps...

Ok time to start to think about building this im still open for ideas but hears wat i have come up with: armour still undecided, weapon bar will most likely be 2 to 3cm steel bar about 40cm long, still looking for some ali blocks for the bearing blocks dont know how im gonna make them, pulleys well i cant find any help with that would be good, gonna go looking for a 20mm steel rod for the shaft, weapon motor well dont have one was wondering if someone could pick me up a nichi ra fan motor next time they r at pnp that would be good, other then that i have everything else if there is anything else that i have missed and if anyone has any ideas that could help me out it would be appreciated

Google "stenco pulley", you will find they are made locally and many suppliers have them - not too sure about your area though.

you can always scab some cast pulleys from a car (water pump drive belt or something like that) they usually arent too big. most places have wreckers.

for visceral it just uses two 20mm plastic blocks with holes spade bitted out then dremeled to size with the bushes forced in. totally didnt work that well lol but its as cheap as youll get on that front.
