will there be a event in perth western australia.
hi there everyone just wondering if anyone will hold a event in perth for robot wars as the aircraft carries said my robot is to long and wide to go on the airplane and i need to send it by ship or frait that wants to charge me $400 just to ship there thats not even return. can someone please let me know can go anywhere in perth. i am also located in the joondalup area about 25km from the city
No there won't be anything in Perth anytime soon. We only run 13.6kg class here which is well within Airline baggage limits and many of us fly regularly to events all over Australia.
If your robot is so large that it exceeds baggage limits you will probably find it weighs more that 13.6kg. I have flown overseas with a Middleweight 60kgs in three bags so its more than doable.
As there is only one or two events Australia wide this will likely be your only option.
Hi, I'm hoping to hold a RoboWar event at a Perth Festival. But need a contact for someone to inform and direct me on whats needed etc. Hoping you can point me in the direction or know someone that can contact me?
