putting red wheels on drills
just out of curiousty how do all of you put the red wheels onto the ends of drills? i usually bugger about 2 wheels out of 10 purely by putting them on crooked.
usually i just get the drill and feed the wheel onto it, but it often goes on crooked. now i short the leads of the motor together and wrench the wheel on with good results.
how much easier does tapping the inner hub thing make in putting the wheel on?

Ever noticed if you accidentally tap esc just slightly, your whole page long message dissapears? Never mind, I`ll tell you what I do in person next weekend Glen. Basically, just drive the wheel on slowly and carefully, checking after the first couple of threads and you can`t go too far wrong. I don`t mind a mm of wobble or so,,,,

If you have access to a Drill press, then using a tap or an equivalent bolt in it to start cutting the threads in the wheel flat on the table can help you get them perfectly perpendicular..

Any interest in ali wheels that screw straight on the M8 thread of most drills and are coated in Vulkalon (like storm 2's wheels)?

Sorry, meant 3/8 UNF.
Just establishing how much interest is there, if I can have a rough idea for a number, then I can work out a price for a batch sent over to Aus. I'm looking at significantly under £10 a pair, which I make as 25 australian dollaridoos.
I'd also like a consensus on what diameter wheel most people use in Australia?

I'd like a set about 160mm diameter and 80mm wide for T2M if the price is right of course
Is it possible to get some strips of Volcalon? I wouldn't mind a strip 2000mm x 50mm x 10mm for my next project _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/
