Serenity was most excellent! I just got the DVD set of the Firefly series as well - might have to watch it several times over. It was a major crime for the studio to kill the series after 14 episodes _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

Serenity is a movie based on the TV series Firefly, as Nick has said. It was made by Joss Whedon of Buffy and Angel fame. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

I may have to get the series off Nick, loved the movie,Yawl!
Glen, those rubber Morloks in the Time Machine were bloody awfull!
The ones in the original with Rod Taylor were heaps better and actually scary looking.

Yeah, the DVD set of the series is pretty good - its the main reason Jolt didn't get much work last week . Strangely, the Reavers never make an appearance and River isn't so much of a martial arts expert in the series. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

Its a long explanation, lets just say its a mash-up of westerns and sci-fi. Its typical Josh Wheldon fare, with a bunch of Misfits battling the law and other crooks (as opposed to Vampires). Its often very funny and there is a lot of action.
That's a poor over view; if you liked Buffy, Angel or any western movies you will find something here to like. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

OK, I will just have to watch it all over again . There are lots of mentions of the Reavers, but nothing mush after episode 3 - I wouldn't want to spoil the story with more specific details... _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion
