Hope this is the right thread.
WARNING!!
After using a xu1 18v 400mah power pack to run 2 small 12v pc fans on a home made laptop cooler for a day i came home to find the power pack soo hot it had started to melt and smolder!
Just a warning to any peeps using them to run other devices other then intended! _________________ Tim Team Reaper.

it probably wasn't the fans that caused the problem (unless they were some uber kind of fan) it was probably some kind of internal short in the pack or in your wiring. _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets

Interesting... I've been using a 15v charger from the 12v XU1's to power two large 12v pc fans with no negative effects... _________________ ( •_•)

Odd. Heh best just grab an XU1 one, those things are hardcore.
Though 24v... that would probably supply something like 30V DC... no doubt that was over what the fan could suitably handle? _________________ ( •_•)

Haha same as everything electrical we toy with I guess.
Somewhat on topic a cell (2/3A size) in my just charged mini inferno pack decided to internaly short circuit for no reason, straight after the charge. It fizzed for a good 5 solid minutes before I stuck it in some saline... _________________ ( •_•)
