Hello gentleman,
Just wondering with all this talk of using lightweights, featherweights, heavies whatever as nar karts i am assuming that we will not really stick with the 2 by 2 foot (bout 60cm square i think) size limit ruling.
Is this correct or are we going to be following this rule?
I need to know when i get my electric bike built if i can make it like a chopper or if it will be a monkeybike sorta thing. _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

For those interested in reading more about the Nar/Micro Kart game the US boys are playing at the moment.. Here's a link to the Delphi Forum they're all chatting on..
Not sure about running them here though.. Where would we drive them ? _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people

ah anywhere where public wasnt at danger. just any old unused netball court of parking lot is good.
The main question for me is though still.
are we keeping to the 2ft squared size ruling. I need to know please. by what i have seen with people saying iw ill use my lightweight etc i presume not so unless we are please say so.
Also Brett, thansk for that link, thats so awesome. _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

oh yeah. that would rule so much i reckon. much fun.
one diea i had was to make it sorta like mario kart (no turtle shells) but have like ramps and jumps and tippers located at specific area's in teh course which u have to manuaver either over or around and such. would add more interesting.
just an idea anyway's. _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

On the idea of using the sidetracked gokart track, Andrew and I came up with the idea of evryone having a big robot race at the end of the Robowars Event where we take the robots to the gokart track and we have a big race!

are we going to be competing with these karts under the rules the americans have. as it has to be 2 foot squared (60 by 60 cm), has no height restriction. Must be more than 3 wheels, have braking either electric or mechanical etc etc.
are we following the 2ft square rule
sombody answer will you. _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

No Welcher, we are going to follow the 4inch cube rules of the ant weights, mainly because we are just starting out and we have to start small. _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/
