Its a bit off topic, but I wanted to know if the Vic Open titles is going ahead next month? If not, perhaps you can get the RE4x4 place interested in having a larger interstate event soon? I am sure at least a few NSW builders would be there. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

thanks guys. turned out to be a great day. the rain held up for us, although the roof was on just in case.
for those who weren't here, I'll be meeting with the owner of RE4x4 this week regarding an event at his venue.
The arena STILL needs more work on it, so I will plan for another event at my place, which by the way will be at Hampton Park as, we are moving there in two weeks.
At this stage mid to late June is the plan.
Once again Nici and I thank you all who came, we had a ball. _________________ Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.

This seams a good as topic as any.
Some people where talking about plastic you heat to 60 deg C i think it was and then you can shape and stuff. Can someone remember the name of it?
Thanks.

Polymorph
Available from Altronics (or cheaper in bulk from Ebay or Overseas if you want lots)
Practically unbreakable lightweight stuff, I was tempted to try and mold some armour out of it - If it gets damaged, just aim a heat-gun at it and mold it back into shape.
Ah that was on ebay aus a little while back.
Would note that it would be useless for motor mounts or against flamethrowers. Looks like a good backing material though... _________________ ( •_•)
