Mabey someone should approch some TV channels, to see if any are interested in hosting such a show. I know that that's how robot wars in England started. _________________ ( •_•)
hi everyone.... guess I should sign in too. My real name is Nic Daniels, but I've been using "carnage" as my name since computer games came out (e.g. space invaders) back in the late '70's/early '80's. I'm in my 30's. For work, I'm currently the RC car mechanic at Toowoomba's only hobby shop (nitro cars).
My background in RC is primarily in 1/10th RC Drag racing - nitro Topdoorslammer and nitro Topfuel Dragsters, with recent additions of 1/5th scale off-road and 1/6th RC tank combat.
I'm looking to set up my own business (similar to skirmish) but that is another story.......
Been a robot nut my entire life... when I first saw the UK t.v. show I understood that heaven is truly on earth (in a bulletproof arena) which explains why I'm going through the expense of building an arena in my backyard.... _________________ There is no such thing as excessive carnage.

Hi, I'm 35, and have been known as Ajax for more than 20 years. I've played around with computers for years and have also played with punch card programing, and the more advanced punch tape.
Have been working in the automation / Process control industry for about 15 years with a small stint in the IT industry. (I have got to play with some big toy's)
I've watched robot wars on TV, (like everyone else) and new of it from there, But it was when I turned up to catch up with Spockie one day, and there where his bots. Not something you could miss at the front door.
From there I started to do some investigation into various required items and concepts. which some are still in the R&D stage. And hope to have the first one completed for Robwars 11 comp. _________________ It's all about the destruction.

I'm from Brisbane, and I'm currently studying at UQ. I've been on the sites (ABBL) for a little while now. I haven't actually built a (proper) robot yet, but I've attended a meet-up, however I'm hoping to get a job this summer, which means I should have some money use for this.

My name's Tom, I'm 17, from Perth. I'm another from the very beginning with Katana. Having now finished my TEE, I'm back in action and it's good to see some WA interest finally. Back in the day there wasn't any. _________________ There are three kinds of people; those who class people well, those who don't and...aw crap.
