So they are less prone to explosions when balanced?
I've charged my packs numerous times @ 10amps with no balancers, no explosions. Only time I've had them go bang is when I've charged them at the wrong voltages (ie, charged a 4cell pack on 6cell charge rate).

Yeah ....but they are less likely to go bang ...right? Alright next time I will try 3amps and see how that goes(thats what the hd power pack maxs out at anyway). 5 amps scares me! _________________ Miles Blow - Julie Pitts

Ahhhh. Are we talking about the electronics kind of bread board or the HDPE kind of cutting board.
If its the cutting board king the only good one I have found are at bigW and are often out of stock. They are like 400mm x 250mm. We have one in our kitchen which I bought for robot use a while ago. So it may dissapear at some point. _________________ Steven Martin

i got my plastic cutting boards from various kitchen supply shops mostly industrial kitchen shops. You can get some massive boards some 19~20mm thick or so and weigh as much as a bot
I have yet to see much thicker then that
They look at you a tad funny when you walk out with a couple of massive boards and nothing else kitchen wise. _________________ Remember to trust me, I am an Engineer.
Haha but they specifically say "You will not find the same quality servo for less, anywhere!"

Be careful when using H-bridges. Accidentally closing relays A and C at the same time, or closing relays B and D at the same time, causes a dead short across the battery which could ruin the batteries and/or start a fire. Additional logic circuits are often used to prevent these catastrophic conditions.

SSRs also usually contain internal protection circuits for current limiting and surge suppression.
They are missing some important circuits (or code) here to prevent $$$ worth of magic smoke...

Yeah they are all above and beyond my soldering /electronics skills. s
Hacked hobby king esc's seem to be the most promising cheap alternative to proper dual channel esc's....Looking forward to what Steve comes up with next!!! _________________ Miles Blow - Julie Pitts
