Dirk Gentlys Holistic Detective Agency
For Further Information on Cats (Schrodinger's and otherwise), Causality Loops, Quantum Mechanics, The Fundamental Interconnectedness of All Things and other myseries
I suggest you check out a rather awesomely funny, and very cleverly well done (in my opinion) recent 1hr Television adaption of Douglas Adams
"Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency".
A Recursive Fractal Point of View on Reality that concurs very much with my own..
Highly reccomended viewing if you like Douglas Adams and Hitchhikers Guide Style Humour ! _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people

You mean when the executivce directors of the local controlled media corporation decide that enough time has passed since it was made that they can now buy access to it at enough of a discount that it is worth pushing their current swag of reality" tv/game shows off their airspace and allowing some decent content to reach the ears of their blinkered audeince that watch specially built receivers that only display content that is send out via government-approved frequencies. ?
Is that what you mean by "TV" ?
Nope Sorry, dont have one of those. Havent even owned one for the last 14 years. You'll have to ask someone else about when "The powers that be" will see fit to let you watch it. likely to be months/years based on current performance I would estimate.

Mmmm if only I knew about this 24 hours ago (submitted a quantum mechanics report about 13 hours back).
In all seriousness ill check it out at some point soon.
It is copping a lot of hate over on IMDB. Trailer does look good.
Will be interesting to see how the series goes when released _________________ Remember to trust me, I am an Engineer.

Its not letter-for-letter true to the book, so some purists are whining about that.
Personally I think they did a brilliant job of capturing the *essence of the concept* in the limited time (1hr) they had, without resorting to Electric Monks, Horses in Towers and other difficult-to-grasp (and film) concepts that would have alienated the average viewer.
Its very true to the *ideas* in a more mainstream presentable way, as well as being quite funny in an ordinary rather than ethereal fashion _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people
