Always happy to support the local economy
Id go 8 if your happy to make em.
Name a price?
Need internal bore to clamp on a 3/4 inch shaft and they need to be made from steel.
Width and overall diameter i guess would be determined bye the cap screw used. Im thinking 6mm cap screw. _________________ Tim Team Reaper.

I can send you my direct deposit details when the parts arrive.
@ Angus: not so hard to set up; I already have shipping forwarder set up in the US and local freight from McMaster is dirt cheap. perhaps we could build up a local order and ship it back here via USPS every 2 months? We could also order cheaper raw materials from places like online Metals or Ti Joe.

Is that so! I might look into it then, seriously just over trying to source parts locally and they've had years to catch up. I know a lot of people who would benefit directly and might set up something for the r2d2, robowars and robodino guys to use.
On a side note, VXB gets the thumbs up from me! $10 postage for 12 bearings and they came in 8 working days.

OK, 8 clamps are ordered . I generally build up about $200 worth of stuff to make the shipping worthwhile - I am stocking up for the next couple of events so it won't take long to reach that.
If anyone else needs some small stuff that's scarce or expensive over here, just let me know in the next couple of weeks.

Just FYI, this is the trans-shipping place I have an account set up:
http://www.hopshopgo.com/hsg/help-how-it-works.do?l=en&c=
. There are plenty of similar places but I have had 100% success and they appear to be Aussies so there is more accountability than purely US-based services. If anyone has a better alternative, I'm happy to check it out.
The deal is that we can ship stuff from multiple US sources and combine into a cheaper box, with storage up to 30 days. For places that don't accept foreign credit cards, they can order with a US card and charge it back (with a service fee added!).
For US shops that will send stuff USPS its not worth using a trans-shipper but for places like Robot Marketplace that has expensive shipping or McMaster, who doesn't like OS customers, its very handy. If this gets popular, I will start a new thread and work out some shipping cost estimates.
