If we want more rounds, then post a time table, we will just skip anybody who isn't ready, and forefit people who don't meet the 30 second rule. I'm not the E/O, I just do what I'm told, if you want me to E/O or manage the rounds to a timetable then we can do that too.
Running even the existing computer isn't too hard, though progress is being made to make it much easier to use integrating it with the botregister website etc.
On that note people still seem totally confused by the idea of a win ratio and the points system. Do we want to go back to a single elimination system? Its much easier for people to understand.
Results are coming shortly, though I still seem to be short some photos. _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets
if people could email me images of their bots if they aren't listed I'll update the results. _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets

You have a photo of my melty as shredder.. Also not sure how chaotic tendencies won zero fights considering the noodler tapped out and shredder was barely working at the end of the fight. I wouldn't imagine that affected the final result. Was just thinking for ranking wise... Get those videos up angus!! _________________ Barton Robotics Youtube Channel:

I'm pretty sure you won those fights; we should definitely review the scoring. The problem with CT (as I see it) is the very slow translation makes it hard to attack faster bots - they are always attacking and out manouvering you. CT scores pretty well on damage and and if you can speed up the translation speed you can pick up on agression and control points.

Yeah the translation speed is definitely something to work on if i ever remake it.. Seemed as the motor got less efficient during the event it started translating alot better.. Had something to do with the brushless being able to brake easier and such. But with the speed was being as aggressive as possible haha _________________ Barton Robotics Youtube Channel:

I noticed that too - I thought you were running it slower on purpose You should make the blade out of a single piece of steel too - getting it mashed up by Killer cost points. Its still the best & only locally made meltybrain, so you should definitely keep going with it IMHO.

I see Fury Jr winning its fight in the results but I keep being told it lost. I'm confused. I also see 28 fights with 16 byes. What happened to Scarlet and Aaron?

That fight is marked incorrectly, fury jr did not win. The photo couldn't even be taken before the wheels were removed by exorcist. Aaron unfortunately couldn't make the event so no scarlet.

Yeh it definitely lost so not sure what's up with that. CBF looking back through all those results but we had 4 rounds of each class then the finals. All those byes and skips and whatevers are indeed confusing as hell haha.
WRT the melty brain, it stands to reason that having more braking would help it translate faster. There was definitely a lot of "braking" in that particular motor later on with the huge mass of an outrunner it probably wouldn't slow down that much once the powers cut to it i guess! _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts

ahhhh, well I'm not so confident in a lot of the previous NSW results in my ranking tables now. But I usually make corrections from forum posts and the occasional video that contradict the posted results and so far no one has complained (much).

The lack of photos was mainly my fault rushing Jake, I'm pretty sure that's the number 1 reason for the few confused results. As with all these things, I'm thankful for Jakes help to implement anything in the first place.
