Lathe tailstock die holder
just got this bad boy on ebay from an aussie company- about to test this out on some 8mm stainless rod ftom a printer- i was supprised and impressed by the hole all the way through so you could do a seriously long thread with this thing😃

It takes a 1" die - so it will tap anything that fits - it probably has 30mm of threading depth for big stuff and probably go really deap with stuff below 8mm all that would be stopping it for the thin stuff is the back of the tail stock- i bought this so the bolts are straight for my bolex anamophic camera mount i was talking anout in another thread
