Would be good to see a plane fed into something like that.

Live update from the real world:

Just saw the Bisalloy Steels truck go past loaded up with heaps of plate. I called Domenic Toretto to organise a hijacking, but sadly all of his black Honda Civics with Spoon engines were in the shop having their green neons replaced

So, while doing some wiring on my bike (converted the non functional hazard light button to a radiator fan on/off) it got me to thinking.

The narva molex plugs are nearly $7 each, ouch. What reason could there be for not just busting out the hobbyking XT60s and EC5s instead? Corrosion etc?

Looks like my nugget car needs the fog lights wired back in and the old plugs on the lights were chopped off. Might smack the EC5s on there instead for a test Razz

Thoughts?

The molex plugs are probably cheaper & easier for the manufacturer; I'd just put plenty of heatshrink around the back of the XT60 connectors for weatherproofing. If you cover the terminal with some hot-melt glue before you heatshrink, you get a really good seal.

I run XT60's on the thermofans on my track cars and for the intercooler fan on my street car. I use used loom tubing and shrink wrapped from the connector over the loom tube.

Didnt want to use up another thread so will post here

So got fulltime work in the field i excell at, boss/work loves me, looks like a very solid lock for the next year or three at least.

Had a meeting with my parents who want to offer to cover deposit on a house/i pay them back over time so am starting to look into buying a place as renting is a waste of money

Would anybody have any advice on things to avoid/to look for in this. Will be talking with banks etc in next two weeks working out figures, will have two tennants being Kristy and also maybe my friend Jacky (who some have met at past events back in the day) and her kid. Covering mortgage wont be an issue between two/three.

Will be doing alot of research and getting the ball rolling but felt i would ask the brains trust and those who have more experience on this than myself

thanks for any help

I'd look for a house in a cheap suburb near where you are likely to be working over the next decade; cutting travelling costs and time are a huge but hidden bonus. Getting a loan without several years full employment at your current job can be difficult; have a good story about it when you talk to the bank. You will often get a better deal via a broker but be careful to read all the fine print.
