I have a couple of the micro RXs which I could try. Happy to give you one of those if they don't show the same issues. _________________ Steven Martin

Did some testing last night and found the following works for me with the newer R615X (DSM2 / DSMX) reciever.
Plug the bind plug into the RX
Power on the RX and the orange status light will flash, indicating it's in bind mode.
Power on the T-SIX, do NOT hold the bind switch.
Wait for the RX to bind, the orange LED will go solid.
Turn off the T-Six.
Remove the bind plug
Turn off the RX.
Binding it this way, I found I can power cycle and connect without issue 20+ times (I got board of power cycling...). This works with the whole safety procedure of powering the TX on first, then powering the robot on (RX) second and connects within 5 seconds, occasionally 10 seconds.
It also failsafes correctly in all instances as confirmed with a servo during testing. The failsafe position is based on the stick positions when you bound the radio. _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Well tried that on both Rx's. First power up after doing so it wouldn't connect, turned power off and on and happened immediately.
Tried again and connected in <2 seconds, tried a few minutes later and back to not connecting despite at least 5 power on / off attempts. So random! This is on the brand new 615 rx.
Seems the newer RX's are the issue. My unit with the old R410 and R610 RX's works perfectly. If you have an old HK T6A radio laying around, you can transplant the radio board from it into the T-SIX and use the T6A Receivers.
Glen, have you tried binding your new Spektrum RX to the T-SIX to see if the issue still happens? _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

I went to the local hoby store yesterday and picked up a 4ch spektrum rx and it seems to work fine at this stage with the orange tx, more testing on the weekend _________________ Creative Instigation - Build Something Awesome!
