Hare and Forbes Machinery

And now the second big company to screw me over this week Laughing

After getting stuck with a slack Sales dude(Phil), I had to keep ringing him as he would return no calls. Finely shit was sorted out and payment was made by me first thing Tuesday morning, for my Lathe and bits. Promised delivery Thursday, Friday @ the latest. Lathes are heavy and I have organized people to help.....

As you can guess no Lathe today, and a 'Computer Glitch' was to blame. I guess future purchases from them(witch may include a Milling machine next year) will be missed, but I will remind them on Monday(about future purchases) and give them a chance to redeem them selfs.

I did receive parts from Mcmaster via Nick yesterday and a Digital tachometer today, so I can't complain. And I will get my new Lathe on Monday Very Happy I've been waiting all year so an extra two days....drop in the ocean. Very Happy

yeah but i bet you didn't have it running for an hour spin casting something.
We found out when we smelt the smoke coming from upstairs ;-> The whole room was full.
240V stuff seems to have loads more smoke than ~12v stuff. We should make 240V robots
