Howdy ho everybody.
Just a quick message to let you know some good news, I'm the new agent for robot power in Australia. For all your XXL needs I'm the person to call ;->
If its in stock you will get it posted locally for $12 (aus) or express for ~$18. Prices for products are the same as the US$ price at the time of sale, IE you pay for the item in US$ and the postage in $AU, conversion rate is the paypal conversion rate.
I'm also the "official" repair agent for robot power as well, so if you have bent your scorpion I'm your guy. _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets

Does that include the 3% paypal fees as well?
How much is an XXL delivery to my door if I paid today? _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

good news.
A shame the cheepest international postage on there website is ~9aud atm but i guess the extra $3 is well worth the shipping delays. _________________ Remember to trust me, I am an Engineer.
This would be where a heat sink would be mounted, yeah?
Thanks, I don't own a XXL yet but would like that measurement. _________________ Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.

Thanks Nick. One more silly sounding question. Whats the mounting hole sizes in the PCB? 4mm? _________________ Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.

Barely even 3mm - I just managed to drill mine out to 4mm without touching the PCB groundplane

New Motor from Robot Power:
Magnum 775
Its a bit pricey at $90 each, and I have no idea how the numbers rate against drill motors (says they are smaller though). Just thought it post it up if it interests anyone.... _________________ Chris, Team Collo

far more power then a drill motor after all it is a 775 motor.
Would need something far beefyer then an IBC (you might just be able to with cooling maybe a bigger heat sink ect but i dont know of anyone who would risk it due to hte lack of current limiting), sabertooth or xxl to run them at full potential where the ibc can run drills fine and the xxl does a quite good job.
they have to be better then banebots but i guess testing will tell.
Hopefuly they take some of nicks suggestions for the future version. (at least i think its nick from memory he is Kineticrunch if not nick then i hope they take Kineticrunchs suggestions )
These motors are for hte domain of victors, sidewinders and beyond controllers.
They sound like they might be a good match for the firecracker also robot power when it is finally released from the last lot of info posted about there testing on the RFL forum _________________ Remember to trust me, I am an Engineer.
