Ha- thought our old trusty sony digital 8 camera had finally died, it was was giving us an error message c31:22 and would not playback any tapes.

so i googled it and found someones suggestion for fixing it.


take out the battery and tape and hit it the bae of it with the palm of your hand then put the battery/tape back in ,and it should playback the tape.

Well it works ...Lucky cause i need to transfer this tape to dvd it for a client by tomorrow.

This camera- sony 120e (circa 2000) has transferred literally hundreds if not thousands of tapes over the years and never had a service. only the odd head clean. we love it!
