yeah, I just noticed that too. I think Dave is writing up a detailed list of all the heavy weights to keep everyone excited. I had to send him 'Glory Shots' of my robot and some data points this morning. But I did find a picture of my first opponent in Twitter.

You need to be "registered" on their site to view them. You have to setup details and they email you some link which turns it on.

I see lots of thin yummy aluminium, and a fairly appalling weapon... Shocked We use thicker axles in featherweights? Laughing

Ha ha I agree.
That weapon will never pickup speed after the first hit.....Also isnt it going just bounce off things with that pivot action?

Just whack him on the blade bar that should bend the hell out of it and make it seize...I cant wait!

I don't want to out wedge Ragin Scotsman. I was to sit on top of him and go nuts with the axe.
I've just watched the Killer Robots video again (for the 50th time) and Ragin Scotsman is huge compared to Huntsman. Unfortuantly everything is mounted to the base plate and has an air gap to the top, excpet the flame thrower gas tank which seems to fit flush to the top plate. The top armour also seems to be thin aliminium, prehaps only 1.5mm think.

Today's job is to try to run all the wiring through PVC tube and cover it with ali foil to make the electronics fire proof.

They left it a bit late IMHO. Still, $100 for all that video, a shirt and a signed poster is too good to pass up!
